Mine was when my son was about 1 month old and I was sooooooooo afraid of crib death and I checked in on him every ten minutes and I went in and couldn't hear him breathing and turned on the light and he was turning blue. I was 18 and all I could do was yank him ot of the crib and hold him upside down nd almost killed him pounding on his back until one hell of a bunch of flem started coming out of his mouth an nose. I (well me and my mother) took him to the hospital and the doctor told me I did the right thing because he could have died. Then I fainted. He is now 34 but I will never forget that one.
My 21st birthday, watching 21 of my mates die before my eyes....and thinking that if I had not just stopped for a hamburger, I would have been there too.

I think that if anyone knew just how scary having kids can be in times like those, they'd think more about having them. Motherhood can be terrifying.
