Foxtrot .. or Slow Fox?........ I ask because everyone calls it Foxtrot, and when I learned it - it was called Slow Fox ... the timing is very similar to the Slow Waltz just with different movement .... a sort of sway....?

You're totally right....... it IS the Slow Fox but everyone seems to call it just Foxtrot, which is not very specific or correct and actually mixes everyone up!!

I think the FoxTrot is what most people do ... the 2steps forward, feet together, 2 steps back, feet together ... zig-zagging around the hall type thing.....?... more a Social style dance.
Real Slow Fox is a glide with a lot of contra body movement and heel turns. Most amazing dance to accomplish! .... almost as good as a successful bungee jump!

Okay, to make up for it, I will say that a nice Lemon Meringue Pie is something decadent that I enjoy!.. The tart sour/sweet custard part, piled high with sticky meringue, and a nice crust underneath...... yummm!

I dance the Slow Fox (slow fast fast... with a long, low gliging -I wish- step and up on the second short/fast? step.... lotsa contra body which I totally suck at.... and thanks to lying on my belly, shoulders hunched up for hours on end fiddling with CS instead of going to dance lessons, I'm starting to lose my shoulders and spine which were the only really good thing about my dancing)
