Well, according to my theory of relativity, you are more likely - relatively speaking - to meet a relatively higher number of people on this site, than you would be in a relatively average pub or supermarket; this would theoretically result in a relatively higher chance to meet someone on CS. But everything is of course relative...

I guess there are some people I'd avoid more from this site than if I met them accidentally as a stranger in a supermarket......but I'm the sort of person who'll chat to almost anybody - on a bus, on a ferry, in a train, on a plane.......

and then again, I can put up a 'screen' and avoid talking to people if I wish to 'switch off' and I'll scowl menacingly at anybody who dares to try and enter the inner sanctum of my private thoughts if I am in a pensive mood!

cs has a huge list of people!

it would take simply ages to go trhough everysingle one of them, send a flower, a mail and then keep track!rolling on the floor laughing but cs is a great place where to get to know people more or less.

meeting people in the street? well it would be in the time I use between the where I am to the car

meeting at supermarkets? hahaha, that's a joke!

local pub? I don't go

so cs.. is the best bet so far....

I would have said especially before the age of 30 (but then I would prefer a 1997 Chateaux Margaux to a 2007 Nouveau Beaujolais any day)!

CS.. best bet so far....
Why so high then, the proportion of 'untaken' beautiful ladies and handsome men profiles on Connecting singles for so long a time.
I think is a 'relatively good' avenue but not the 'best'.

it seems to me so much easier to meet guys on line than at the bar. there is so much more selection here. i have referred to it as the meet market before. such good shopping :)

so much easier than the bar. i don't have to get dressed and all gussied up. costs less so much less trouble. of course my fingers get tired. there is just slim pickings at the bars close to where i live anyway. gives new meaning to the phrase i had too much tequila last night. cheers haha

then there is that theory that when you are ready the one appears?? what is that all about???confused

The advantage of the local bar and supermarket is their proximity, innit. There are few girls from my area using this site and none of those who do seem to want to correspond with me.dunno

Is it possible to maintain a long distance relationship? Hardly ideal, I would have thought.
