Thanks to my friends on CS (9)
jus_4youpleasantville, New Jersey USA62 Threads 676 Postsyesterday was thr first year my dad passed away and at the same time it`s my son`s birthday i didn`t know how to feel sad for my dad or happy for my son`s birthday. I got a lot of support from my friends at CS I know this is something i have to deal with myself but some times we all could use some kind words to help ease the sorrows in life. It know the next day and feeling little less stressed my sincere thaks to all how replyed to the post and all the emails i got

sorry I wasnt there for you yesterday - life got in the way Im afraid - but what I was going to say was along the lines of celebrating your dads life at the same time as your sons birthday - celebrate the experiences and the time you had. Celebrate the relationships you all built
The first yr aniversary is always a tough one cos it makes you reflect on how much you have come through the trauma - rest assured that by next yr you will be a little more at ease with this thing. I really do assure you that it will feel a lot better by next time
