jlw45: pigeons.....''rollers''....they compete with them....a kit is a flock...you turn the kt loose, and they all fly up and around....and they will ''roll'' or tumble in mid air....there are diffirent ways they are judged....to much to go into....
Sergey Nazarovich Bubka is the greatest sporstmen ever lived on this damned earth...
Bubka won 6 consecutive IAAF World Championships, an Olympics gold and broke the world record for men's pole vaulting 35 times (17 outdoor and 18 indoor records). He was the first to clear 6.0 metres and the first and only (as of August 2008) to clear 6.10 metres (20 feet). He holds the current outdoor world record of 6.14 metres (20 feet 1 3/4 inches), set on 31 July 1994 in Sestriere, Italy and the current indoor world record of 6.15 meters, set on 21 February 1993 in Donetsk, Ukraine.
gillyloves69: i glanced at an interesting story in the paper a few weeks ago about a family that raised a pet lion then when it got bigger set in free into some kind of nature reserve ..
anyway they decided to go back to the nature reserve ( or special knid of animal sanctually of some sort ) to visit the now fully grown lion ...and the lion automatically reconised them came up to them and was very freindly playing with etc
yea but, a wild animal is just tha...a wild animal....people tend to view them in the same way as domesticated animals and thats where the troubles begin...as long as your always aware of the fact that its a wild animal, you will keep your gaurd up
