The Real Reason the Russian are in Georgia
I just learned the port Poti.....the one that the Russians are occuping.... over the last year just had a sizeable program to
develop. It was one of the those foreign funded expansion
where the foreign country get 51% and the local get 49%.
Several middle eastern Gulf Countries had teamed up to fund a
multi billion dollar program in improve and exapnd the port.
Expansion to about twice its capacity of today. Meaning a lot
of oil going out....and a lot of goods coming in.
The Russian rockie relationship with the Ukraines that control the
Crimean seaport where the Russain's Blask Sea fleet is berthed,
could mean that they would lose that base someday. If so, they would have to leave the Black Sea at least with thier Navy. That would be
a major failure for the Russians, that consider the region a
Russian sphere of influence.
By occuping Poti, they have a back up port to shift the Russian Black Sea fleet to if they need to. They also got the equipment, the materials and other resources being brought to Poti for this port expansion program. Just a little bit of nation state robbery. Sure they will have some flowery program titles.....that deflects the real purpose and intent.....but is that not just another way of lieing and being decietful? Maybe we can get John to step down.......and make it an all woman ticket for the Rep? I kind of like the idea of putting us men out to pasture on this politicin thing. We can take John huntin and fishin...let the ladies run the country.:-)
