I mentioned it earlier that the ages of the Obama girls were a deteriment to the operation of the White House. Others have seen that as well.

Seems like the Republican leaders at the State and Federal levels made the right decision to evacuate the impact area of the storm then. Compared to other countries that Gustav hit, that is a very low death toll.
At least they did not sit inside New Orleans waiting for a evacuation order that never came and for evacuation vehicles that did not show, when they were sitting inside local parking lots, as when the Dem were in the Mayor and Govenor offices with Katrina.
