Hugz_n_Kissez: I used to be extremely shy...but overcame it by choosing careers in which shyness was not an option so I had to overcome it and just did the things that were required to do so regardless of my fears...like public speaking....dealing with different facets of the public etc....and developing self-confidence each time I accomplished something that I could never do before....
I see it all the time and am most bothered when others have to put people down in order to build themselves up do to their own inferiority complexes.....but that's another thread....

conversing

i nearly took a job as a nurse in the men's prison in NH, till i realised that even with danger money i would get paid less than my hospital job.-go figure ( though in Texas- i regularly had patients who were handcuffed to the bed, with a police/prison guard present at all times, and we weren't allowed to have our surnames on our badges for fear of gang retaliation! and i thought i was always gentle!!!)snooty laugh

Yep and the hospital is always a good target for hostage taking too...due to the vulnerability of the nursing staff...so good choice.....uh oh dunno laugh
