I chased all my friends away several years ago. Seriously.
Very few people stop by anymore, and those are only relatives.
Also, they never hang around. They usually just stop by to say hi and leave.

someitmes i don't mind being around people, but sometimes, i like to be by myself and i rather not be bothered.... ....i'm kind of a loner anyway, but i do like to have friends, and have my friends and family come to visit me...i just don't like it being all the time...

yes. I do it. I tell folks I gota have the time. not that i don't care or love, but must have it.
allows me time to rejuvinate, and be okay with me again...
have had folks get real mad. even family break in on me demanding i pay attention...?(that was a bit ago, thoug...)
i wander,... get lost... not like walk away and lose myself elsewhere...

I never had any friends worth hanging out with anyway.
They were all drunken bums who would sit around and complain about all their problems whilst blowing their alcohol laden breath at me. They all smoke too. What a worthless crew.
Just don't know any constructive people. Or perhaps, better said, all the constructive intelligent people I know are married and they simply aren't interested in hanging around with a single guy anyway.
I am going over to the college on Monday though and start a summer program.
Maybe I'll meet some cool friends over there.

Oh hell yeah I am one step from being Howard Hughes at times...without the money sadly...Happy as a clam in my own little world for the most part. I like my personal space. You know what's even worse is that the ones that get offended usually like there space as well but can't figure out why you can't be in people mode the same time as they are...oh look there is the world...guess who it's revolving around?...can you say antisocial...oh yeah definate hermit in me...
