psuedonym: make up sex is great, debate and discussion are mandatory, but i think the fact that the guy told her he barred up whilst having the argument, not after... was a bit odd. if allowed to fester, that little idiosynchrasy could develop into a nasty violence induced fantasy.

Yes, definetly agree with you there, aggression is one thing, violence is another all together. I also don't get my rocks off during an argument (just for clarification) however it does stir up the passion centre. cool

Ceres: The final chapter was actually written a couple of days ago, when he started another argument face-to-face, lost it totally, ordered me to drive him home, kept arguing, so I booted him out of my car.

He was about 30 km from his house.

I had a "driving Miss Daisy" type holiday with my mum many years ago. The idea was a relaxing tour of the Barossa wineries.

We ended up arguing about my girlfriend of the day (AKA "the slut") resulting in me being booted out of the car.

It was slightly further though, perhaps 700 clicks from home, near a place called Penola. Nothing but dust and road kill out there (and a stuffed tiger). Took 2 days to get back to Melbourne. The second day I was wondering why no-one was giving me a lift (standing in the rain on the out-skirts of Ararat) Finally realised I was in front of a prison for the criminally insane.......... Six foot, mattered hair and a slightly desperate gleam in my eye...

Ceres: A couple of men have told me over the last few months that sending messages by txt isn't really real - that is, whatever they say in txt isn't necessarily how they feel.

Alright, so they say this when they have lost their temper and txt something they really shouldn't have, but I can't quite get my head around this idea.

If txt words are not really true, does that mean I can stand up any date arranged by txt?

If txt isn't real, is email?

Over the years I have seen more victims of domestic violence that most people would ever want to.
It is amazing the excuses the perpetrator will use to justify their actions "I only hit her when I'm drunk!" "I poured the boiling fat over him because HE made me so angry!" (yes, real case). They are never at fault and it is always something outside of their control that makes it happen.
"I sent that text because I was drunk!" but he still drinks?

I my experience (professionally and personally) the only difference between physical abuse and psychological abuse is bruises heal faster.

Abusive behaviour is abusive behaviour don't tolerate, it don't make excuses for it (I did for 15 yrs and it only got worse).
Tell him to bugger off and go and find find someone who really deserves you, not someone who thinks he does.

Pockets

p.s. Just for your interest I would estimate I have looked after almost twice as many male victims of domestic violence as female. I'm not saying women abuse more than men but they tend to use more damaging methods. This includes women in same sex relationships (yes I have the research to back it up).

mobile phone etc for txt are dangerous,

you drinking a little and suddently every bit sending that txt makes sence; then you send it and you go oh hell and try to stop it going.

the next morning - blushing hide, wisht he ground would open up and swallow you.

Done it a few times rolling on the floor laughing just threw the bloody phone away and never got a new on.

Na txt is not real, its a bloody living nightmare.rolling on the floor laughing

If he only txt you to go out on a date, I wouldn't go - if he can't be bothered his a** to ring, I can't be bothered my a** to go. Its bloody rude, ignorant and arrogant, of both of us rolling on the floor laughing

Ceres:
My next question should be, is it normal or usual for people to get sexually turned on by arguing with their girlfriend/boyfriend, partner or significant other? Txt arguments or face-to-face.

One would think many women of British Ilse heritage are ... can't understand it myself.

It can be like that when the element of perceived anonymity becomes reality with the face to face meeting. It changes the way some people view you.cheers peace

It seems that we can be almost different people when we are communicating in different ways - e.g. the phone me isn't the same as the txt me who isn't the same as face-to-face me.

And some folks are more odd than others.
