Silly Mr Salt. He should realise that Australian women will just go ahead and do what NZ women have been doing for ages - IMPORT! They make 'em cheaper and more efficient overseas.
It seems that we can be almost different people when we are communicating in different ways - e.g. the phone me isn't the same as the txt me who isn't the same as face-to-face me.
The final chapter was actually written a couple of days ago, when he started another argument face-to-face, lost it totally, ordered me to drive him home, kept arguing, so I booted him out of my car.
Well, yes, of course it is a perfectly splendid excuse for bad behaviour that would otherwise earn a glass of water in the face, but thes eblokes are quite insistent about the unreality of txt. If this is the way they really think, how do they cope in the mdoern world?
Text quote: "Lunch is useful u dnt seem to be.." I'll miss out all the swearing.
A couple of men have told me over the last few months that sending messages by txt isn't really real - that is, whatever they say in txt isn't necessarily how they feel.
Alright, so they say this when they have lost their temper and txt something they really shouldn't have, but I can't quite get my head around this idea.
If txt words are not really true, does that mean I can stand up any date arranged by txt?
