shot3743: Hmm, interesting.

My great hero, the Scottish patriot, William Wallace, met with exactly the fate you describe.

I have always dreamed of going into the history books, but my vision usually becomes pixellated near the part that you so graphically, and if I may say so, compellingly describe...

My only crime was to take out a paltry overdraft. As a matter of fact, a computer gave it to me without any specific action on my part, other than to subsequently spend the dosh, mostly on rebuilding a collapsed hovel in an Eastern rubbish dump. In view of your observations, I will try to contact my bank with a view to effecting repayment asap.

Your humble servant,

Shot3743

Hi,Shot3743.
Glad to see you are wasting no time in taking the necessary remedial action.
Sorry to hear about the somewhat less than satisfactory condition of your Eastern abode.
I,too, have been given a bank overdraft without ever asking for one.
Fortunately, though,i have not fallen into their trap,by spending any of the dosh.

On the plus side,at least you won't have to worry about the rack, now.comfort

Footnote:

My bank is one of those online banks that when you try to get in touch with them, it's a frustrating and ultimately pointless exercise.
So I'm just going to do nothing and see if the problem doesn't solve itself. Would be nice if they went bust and just quietly disappeared. laugh

Conrad73: Rob it before it goes bust.
If they catch you they have to feed you three Square Meals a Day.
If they don't,well then you're set for a while.

Borrow money with that account as security, in the same bank.

If they bite the dust, well... bad for them.

Ah, dont spend them, buy state bonds. The interest is your insurance premium.
