A while back I had the weirdest dream featuring Kurt Cobain. I'm not saying this dream has any divine or religious meaning but here goes. I realize that some people say they had some "divine dream" involving Kurt so people can get attention. I swear this is not the case. This is the dream as I best remember it.
So in the dream I had just died (again I repeat this isn't religious it's just what happened.) You know how they say when you die your life flashes before your eyes? Well I was in this small room and the walls were a dull brown color with a bench in the middle. Kurt was sitting on one end of the bench. There are these two screens one on each side of the room. Kurt is watching his life on one screen. In this dream you have to watch every minute of your life so it isn't like you watch it in really fast motion. I sit down and watch my life on my screen. I watch it for a bit and then I say to Kurt "Hey you're Kurt Cobain." He just turns around and looks at me giving me this look like he wants to say "who the hell are you?" and looks back at the screen. I resume watching my life. I attempt at talking to him again and he seems more responsive. I don't remember what I talked to him about but after a while we each resume watching our lives. After that I woke up and the dream was done.
Very seldom do I have dreams that I remember but this one is definitely a memorable one. I had this dream a while back, like a couple months or so ago. I am a Nirvana fan and I own most of their albums. If it wasn't for Cobain's fondness of bands like R.E.M, the Pixies, Flipper, the Vaselines, the Meat Puppets, Neil Young, or the Wipers I would've listened to them but not really given them much of a chance. So what I am trying to say is that through a band like Nirvana I have found other bands that I like. People will probably call me crazy and say I'm disrespecting Cobain. I in no way mean to imply that.
