Hi atomant I totally agree hopefully now we can breathe easy again.....he was the best candidate and he deserved to win...lets hope we all see the changes start happening soon

I feel yes its a victory for equality I also believe that as Obama has created history being the first Black man in the white house that some nut job will probobly try & do something bad to him so he or she can be famous too .

Yep i have had the same feeling...wouldnt be him for quids......but lets hope he has plenty of those hot hot hot body guards around him and his family all the time

Anyone with real competence and the will to kill him will not try very soon. It would be a futile effort to try to end him at the moment with the extremely heavy security. When an attempt happens, and it will, it'll be further into his term, when things have relaxed a bit more.

Unfortunately the kind of changes the extremist element, right wing radicals and possibly even big business want in the states, are not what Obama is offering.
It is sad, but predictable, considering the history of the states.
