A lot of people say they are put off reading the classics (my Sister is a prime example),because of the old fashioned words,and style of writing.
I told her that if she read Charles Dickens' 'Bleak House', 'David Copperfield,or 'Nicholas Nickleby',to name a few,she would get the appetite for more. But alas,she has still to read one.
