Yep know exactly where your coming from Abes, and even tho it seems shallow it just depends on wat you went thru with that person eg: if it was a volatile relationship you tend to associate the name with the experience you had with that person and sad but true we are all guilty of doing that, my ex's name was Rainton, so no chance of ever meeting another one with his name 
If someone calls out the name Phil I see red , If your names Phil , you like me , you wanna get bizzy with Kizzy, change yr farkin name !!!!!

Not shallow at all - my ex's name is Clive and, if I ever meet another Clive I'll run a mile. On the flip side. I had a big crush on a neighbour named Pete, so any guy I meet named Pete has a head start

Ah wat the hell me too i still have a crush on a guy called Paul...no not this Paul, but i lurvvvvve the name Paul Paul Paul, we have known eachother for years and everytime he is single i'm not and vice versa, the once when we were both single and he asked me over for a hot tub and champagne, i made the weak excuse that i needed to wax also had some people over that night, god i now regret that bigtime i am still kicking myself over it he is even better than Vin Diesel.....the BOD and Face is just to die for and he's 44
