rasgumby: I second what Ken said!! well put

I also enjoy reading your threads Barren. even though I don't post a lot in them.
But I have reported the abusers many times and will continue to do so.

Is such a shame that some have nothing better to do than come into certain threads just to fight and mouth off.

Is a big place and plenty of room for others to post wherever and whatever they want without their search and destroy missions.

Just too difficult to understand I guess that they DON'T have to read all threads.. don't like this topic.. go find one that you do.

So tough I guess.
No one is forcing them to read the thread. nothing being forced down their throats as they are trying to do to others.

Of course Ken is not the only friend I missed during my sabbatical, and it is also for their presence that I returned here. And of course there would always be other fine people like yourself to encourage me to remain just by being pleasant company and expressing themselves in ways that uplift one or cause introspection of a personal nature of growth.
Thank you for the kind words, they mean a great deal coming from one of your character. You are indeed a wonderful addition to this place and a counter-balance of sorts to even the weight of some others who seek to draw the peace from others.hug

Misery given any sort of attention will grow unfettered in any soil fertile or not. But if the seed is truly ignored it need not be plucked from the ground. Those who seek to lower others to their own state of being are just wounded. Their actions and words require sympathy not reprisal. I have no more consideration of retribution, those things helped me survive my life but never paid any dividends but to make me more like the things that sought to destroy what purity I have remaining. Sympathy however abounds as I have been there before and know the depth of depravity the mind has when it seeks to reduce one to nothingness. I have no particular liking for Thlaspi arvense (a variety of stinkweed) but I do not waste my time or efforts in erradicating it from my view. I have learned that it has a natural beauty of its own as long as it is viewed from a distance. So too are those who have anthropomorphized such characteristics in life. In all there is some shard of good or worth and to that I will continue to bend my gaze.
