I drink Corona at home, mostly, but the best beer I've ever had in my life came from Illinois - don't know where, but I bought it in Farmer City - and was a micro-brewery beer called "Bad Frog."
Recently, I've developed a penchant for "Delerium Tremens" a Belgian ale that runs about 8-9 bucks for a 750ml bottle. It's pricey, but DAMN, it's GOOD!
woody636: Try a few Belgium beers. After those, everything else tastes like a light beer. A few REALLY good ones - Chimay, Westvelteran, Westmalle, Rochfort. All made at Trappist monestaries; formula for some is 400/500 years old!
Belgium is a good place to start, they know how to make beer.
