That's no excuse though, I've heard it time, and time again. It's what's in the heart that counts, but that's obviously not what she looking for. It's just plain wrong.

Dreamer82: I met this woman at school, she has similar asserations as I do. We've become friends, she's a struggling actress, and I want to get into filmmaking. A little bit of time passed, and I became interested. Up until recently, I had kept trying with no luck for a relationship. Finally, we met one Saturday, and she told me she was looking for. God, she sounded like a gold digger. It was like because I don't yet have a nice car, a six figure bank account, and three credit cards she want nothing romantically to do with me. We're still friends, and I see her around every now and then, but I've given up on her romantically.

Nor did I say he was a jobless loser. It's a simple fact some ladies want financial security in the package. They may not say it and it's not necessarily a bad thing either. It takes all types.
