lanabyte: I swear I don't have road rage, but stupid drivers drive me frickin crazy. What annoys me most is the stoplight near my house. I turn right at the stop light, then have to make an immediate left onto a side road. And even though there's a sign there that says "DO NOT BLOCK INTERSECTION", people always block the stupid intersection!!! So I have to make a U-turn behind them.

I've got one of those lights. And people are constantly running through it because they expect the stop line to be further up. The other day there was actually an accident there & someone must have left the scene on foot because the helicopters were out in the alley for about 30 minutes. I have to make an immediate left turn too, into my driveway and there's been a couple times when I've had to wait for someone who was using my driveway to turn around in....seems the people who live on my side of the busy street can't get across the traffic to go left so they go right, turn on my street, use my driveway to turn around so they can catch the light and go left. very mad

Ambrose2007: Sure, they get the hint - but by that time the damage is already done, I think. When you meet someone at the top of the hill your encounter only lasts a split-second (as opposed to seeing them approach on the flats some distance away).

No one said we all think alike or ahead to respect other drivers.

shi_06: But I really hate those really cautious drivers who could have pulled out into the intersection forever ago with no problem whatsoever, but didn't and still sit there for another forever in a half... come on now, let's get a move on! Thanks

Oh you just reminded me of another one, although this has more to do with parking than with driving.

The six parking spaces in front of my apartment building are there to be used by the tenants of my apartment building, not the friends of the college students in the building across the street. It is also not acceptable to park in our yard or to drive across our yard because it is quicker than actually going around the turn. roll eyes

One morning while I was scraping ice off my car, one of my neighbors (yes, another college student - I need to move laugh ) actually came outside with two large glasses of steaming hot water and poured them on his car to melt the ice. doh I nearly died laughing. Luckily, his windows didn't break, but when he came back out, he couldn't figure out why his door wouldn't open. rolling on the floor laughing
