In light of the death of one man at a Wal-mart maybe they need to

put a warning on the packages.

"Warning! Shopping may be hazardous to your health!"

Why not?

It worked for the tobacco companies and they got away with it for no

telling how many deaths so far.professor

Wal Mart Employees dont belong to any union. The worker that died last week, was a temp employee. Employees who are temp employees dont have the same great benifits as the regular employees. They are treated like dirt wherever they work. Yes, they work for cheaper wages than regular employees. Maybe if Wal Mart employees did belong to a union, this incident would not happen.
I know because I have work as temp before.
Back in 1997 I work for Upper Deck a sports trating card company. There I remember Temp Employess didnt required to ware any safety gere while regular employees got yelled at if they didnt ware any.

The other part of the story you forgot to mention....the woman that was 8 months pregnent and lost her child because of the mob....

I don't know how people can be so absent minded as to allow themselves into a state of mind where they are not concerned with the saftey of themselves or others...JMO

I was wondering if there would be any charges against anyone or everyone. How would that work where so many people are involved.

What I would like to know is..... what were the police doing while this was going on? They were at the Wal-Mart that this happened. They were supposed to attempt to prevent anything like this from happening.

Car driving causes much more death! Why not ban all cars!

With the tabacco it has a very simple reason:
First the press keeps on reporting all the bad news. Than the gouvernment "has to do something" and they increase the tax on tabacco - only to make more and more bugs! The more in the kitty, the more they can help themselfs!

Its not except past problems shown that they can create situations prime for problems. They have money and someone will try to get it. They also need an example and test case. If I gave away free booze and someone got drunk and killed someone.....they would hang my butt......But by whats correct wally world did no wrong.......the same as a bear who wanders in to town.......but the bear gets shot.

There is talk about attempting to identify the people on the survalence tapes. I am not sure how this is going to come about...but...I do agree that it should be done...

I didn't know that the police were there to help with crowd control, this puts a whole new spin on it legally I would think...I would guess that the city or county would also be pulled into the lawsuits that are going to be filed.

I agree RNG...Crazy world...Crazy people
