How many people from connecting singles are spending Christmas day on thier own. (9)
Martia: On another thread one of our members was talking about being on her own for Christmas.There was only a few on line but at least another two members said they would also be on their own.
Thinking about it further I could not believe how many others are in the same boat.Granted some could not give a stuff but there would be a lot out there that would be so lonely and sad,they say that Christmas is the loneliest day of the year for some.
Granted there are a few things on' but I dread to think about all the others who are too proud to admit it.
Could some thing like a new yrs eve party be held just so everyone can get together to have a big party.
the only proviso that you are on your own.
That's all I can think of at the moment.

That is great psudo a wonderful idea, but they will still be on their own on Xmas day.I think all the Capital Cities could do something Just think its sad, its a matter of getting every one together.What a party that would be.Could try to get the press onside I suppose for next year as its too late for this year.

Nah wont be able to make it my daughter will be interstate, and I will be looking after my granddaughter.

well how bout the people in victoria organise one for sometime in feb or march???
This will be my first year alone for christmas... It's always such a big deal in my family that everyones there, but I started a new fly in fly out job and have to work it... so yes I'll be alone... There'll be other people there but most of them keep to themselves... weird
