I'm really not a big coffee drinker. In fact, I have no coffee at my house & can't tell you the last time my coffee maker's been used. But when my friend makes hers, I just can never resist!

Hi Sweet, I pretty much start my day the way the thread
states about Zen, although I don't know much about it.
I just totally relax, meditate and just concentrate on
me for a few minutes out of each day. You have a good one.

I used to drink a lot of it but hav cut down to 3 / 4 cups a day.
To start my day I have to brew a fresh pot and have 2 cups.
Pure delicious.

You do the same, sassy sweetie! I agree about the meditation part. I don't usually have time to sit & do it usually. But as I'm getting myself ready for work each morning, my mind is going a mile a minute. Self-meditation is self-medication! thumbs up

Darlin it is like exercise, etc, you are a very important
person. Just incorporate a few minutes of the start of
each day, even if it means getting up 15 minutes earlier,
and clear your mind of all thoughts, and only concentrate
on yourself.

Hi Sassy. wave hug

I use to have something similar. When I lived in Texas, I always kept cans of Sprite in the fridge.

Whenever I felt things were becoming overwhelming, I would reach in and grab a Sprite and go sit on the hood of my car and slowly drink it.

During that moment of sitting in silience and sipping the Sprite and feeling th cold, life would become more clearer and I can compose myself.

My gf at the time always knew when I had a bad day, she would see the can and knew I was having a Sprite moment and let me be.

I don't do it as often as I use to, but I still remember those times.

So, we all have our Zen moments with our drinks.

cheers

Hi DK, Does not matter what the drink is as long as we take
a few moments to alone. Have a great day. At least with the
Sprite, you won't burn that precious tongue. wink
