Hi Kizzy if was me I would confront the husband to see his response before going to lunch that way you maybe more comfortable having lunch with the wife, this might also force the husband to come clean with his wife.

yeah look I have agonized over it since it happened , I didnt go yeasterday because I simply didnt want to be put in that situation & feel uncomfortable My opinion of the woman & man involved has changed alot but end of the day it is their lives . Lies & secrets have a way of surfacing. I am just going to leave it . when it all comes out I will be there for my friends

just don't let slip you knew to any of them .. if they can find a scapegoat to blame they will if it takes the pressure or focus off them
