yep, the main bloke in that book, is an important chap in the "dark tower" and has to go back with the low mem......

CHILDE ROLAND TO THE DARK TOWER CAME....

"Time takes it all, whether you want it to or not. Time takes it all, time bears it away, and in the end there is only darkness. Sometimes we find others in that darkness,

And sometimes we lose them there again."

That's cool. I actually read more than Hearts in Atlantis but I don't remember all the rest. It's been a while since I have internet and change the simple life style.

True stories are some of my favorites. There was the book Wiseguy, then made into the movie Goodfellas. It was very well written about the NY underworld. If you liked the movie, read the book because it has so much more detail. There was another one about a woman who wrote about her 20+ years experience as a waitress. She provides a lot of insight into the personalities she served and the profession itself, quite fascinating!
