You could also get a male pet, a bird or cat, or even a fish, then when you want to turn a guy down just say you already have a "boyfriend".

1) they dont feel bad for saying no,
and more important
2)I dont lose face and feel bad.
Be honest is the best thing for both you and him. If you dont want to go out with him, tell him. He will move on, and you will get peace and quiet.
If you lie to him and he sees you next week, and asks you again ... then what are you going to do? Then there is the embarrased silence when he tries to ring you while you are stood there.
