Why are Irish guys too shy to approach women? (100)

Irish guys are unreal about approaching women - if only more of them would just say `hi` it breaks the ice so quickly..... and before you say it i do make the inital move.....i even talk to guys on the bus/train as i am friendly!

As a fair lady I can tell ye guys that a smile and a laugh will work for me every time, tidy appearance, clean shoes, subtle sftershave (the more subtle, the likelihood of us leaning in to smell is increased) quick wit and the ability to take and deliver a joke
oh and don't be mean, by that I do not expect in this day and age that you lift every bill, just enough to make the "fair lady" feel like chivalry is not gone and forgotten!

Why r guys 2 shy though I know girls r afraid of rejection 2 but it seems to me that any guys I seem to encounter want the girl 2 make the first move
I think it is bad memories of early encounters with rude and dismissive teenage girls who were more confident and mature. We lads forget what ladies you have all turned into! I could be wrong but I think the fear of rejection is based on having been rejected a lot at a younger age.

not quite sure how to use these forums, so bare with me , actually date me if i get it right, thats a quick approach on my behalf, have only joined a few mins ago so are irish men bad at approaching, i can kind of chat on most subjects so dont find it that difficult to make a move about 85 % of the time. rejection i have had a few it becomes a so what thing after a while. so in your opinion give me a commentry on what you would like, said, or done if a desirable man was to approach you and why and even any tips because its all learning till the day we departthis planet, take care. you can get the drinks in the next time im in kerry
