I'm new so excuse me if this has been done to death already. Plus I don't know any better....
I came home one day from a weekend horse riding and the ex had chopped up all my furniture with an axe. The lady upstairs thought she'd been exercising on one of those small indoor trampolines.
The bed linen was smoldering in the fireplace and my bar was up-ended in the kitchen sink (thank goodness for vapour locks!!) Worse still my obstetric log book no longer had any pages documenting the hundreds of hours I'd spent sweating in the labour suite to qualify for the board exams.... oh look over in the fire place....
Another acquaintance told the girl at the time she'd have to go. One of his prefered girlfriends had rung and was paying him a surprise visit and my mate suggested she'd have to make herself scarce by the time he returned. This was in a small Tasmanian town and it took him several hours to drive to the airport to pick the incoming girl up. When he arrived back he was surprised to see everything neat and tidy, he'd expected some negative reaction. However the phone was off the hook.... Funny, it was a mechanical voice telling him the time....... hmmm stranger still, it wasn't midnight......
vonney: My ex locked me and the kids in the sitting room once for best part of a weekend not even allowing kids out to use the bathroom or get a drink.Does that count.....

Vonney, that's not only nasty but criminal, abusive, traumatic and a host of other things I could come up with!

worse? hmm one of them was when I had made candlelight dinner and dressed up he came home drinking, backhanded me down a flight of stairs but not before he busted the hanging light that spewed glass all in my forhead, I didn't get up for a while but when I did he got his back, I left after that. I forgave though, but I won't forget. Ever.

I'm not a violent person but I'm sorry. I'd definitely make an exception in his case. Thugs like that need to have a nice lil chat with a baseball bat .....repeatedly IMO
