Well I joined for the forums, and have met a lot of great people from around the world, and yes I did move out of the "rat race" almost 5 years ago. Nice and peaceful, but boring in a lot of ways....or maybe it's just me.
looking at the replys, this thread's causing a lot of insults, but the girl does have a point!!
i reckon im a fairly sociable guy and like going out, but while i've been in waterford a year now, i haven't made a lot of friends, and end up going out on my tod a fair bit!!
since joining this site, i find it a great way of 'chatting'2 people, and i love reading the forums, they can be very very funny,
as4 'be proud of your choice to leave the rat race', this doesn't really apply2 me at all, i've just moved from one city to another, the good thing about being down south, is it doesn't feel like a rat race at all!!
and as 4 but god,,,isn't it hard sometimes? i suppose it is hard to actually go out on dates and find "Love", i find this is a more social thing than dating.

As I discoverd recently when I made (what I thought was) a funny remark (no, I am not going to repeat it !), humour is not the same for everyone.
And yes we are all CAPABLE of being nerds and socially unacceptable. but we rarely are DG.
