I just created a poll on how people prefer threads to run. Don't know how to get it to Irish Forums.

Feel free to vote. We will see how the majority feel!

Thanks for that.

I have tried to get involved in threads, but doesnt seem to happen. There is a definate clique of people who chat on the forums, who seem unwiilling or unable to accept new people. And Im not the only person who feels like that. Ive had emails from other people saying the same thing.

That's because you know them Vonney but i have seen newbie after newbie get totally ignored on here. Not conducive to a healthy athsmophere for anyone except a handful of people.

And I can bump an even older one I put up ages ago, I looked at it recently and the majority of people were fed up with the "silly" threads. At that time it was not unusual to have only two or three people on the forum on a fri or sat night.

We are all newbies at the start Vonney but I think that a lot of people here do not go onto any other forums at all.

I am on between 20-30 diferrent forums mostly work related and i know what it is like to walk into a room of strangers and the attitude of the people on those forums detitmine whether i return or not again.

It has gotten way too insular on here Vonney.thumbs up

i`m a new-be and found it totally diferrent imo..
maybe a good start would be the doo on the 14th of feb in dublin! no one, hand on heart would go outwardly to alienate anyone!..i believe this to be true!
and perhaps the"putting the voice to the profile" on that nite
would be a good opportunity to let any so-called bad blood go!

mine was only fun and banter directed at your posts earlier, pinch of salt to be taken with each quip!
