I see alot of questions about profiles and what can be done to make them better. So, without giving it too much thought. What are the first things you check on a profile? Does social interaction make a big difference.

Personally, I'm finding it pretty entertaining reading the forums.

I look for one to see if they are still wanting children since that is not a possibility for me. But if the children are older that would not be a problem for me.
Look to see if we have things in common and always reading between the lines. uh oh
Since I am a smoker I see if that is bothersome to them as well.
I like to dance and go out. If they want to sit at home all the time well then we would not get along.
Are them family orinated? I love my family and they are a big part of my life.
Those are just a few of the things I look for.

Not sure anymore whether or not that actually makes a difference....what people say about themselves and the reality can be soooo dramatically different that you really just have to gather the facts for yourself somehow....

I first look to see how articulate they are -if they can't write a decent sentence --- forget it.

I next look for a picture or maybe I look for that first. If they don't have one experience shows they may be hiding something-either the way they look or the fact that they have a boyfriend or husband.

Next they have to like children and animals.

That's enough for friends- I don't look beyond that.

Sadly, Eggs, I have to agree. hug comfort hug

I do still at least look for intelligence, though.

Nice thread..thumbs up

ME, personally I look at their face then body size, then their religion, then if I like those things I read the profile. call me shallow but that is what I look for, I'm sure there are many others that do the same thing, but might not fess up to it...cheers

I could probably count on one hand of how many profiles I've read since I've been on this site.I generally just observe how people act within the forums mainly. Since I'm not ready to be looking for someone as yet I don't really have any interest in the profiles.
