DublinSurfer: Im torn on this 1. BOD is still the man despite what people are saying and he's been kept as captain anyway, I think it'd be wrong to take the captaincy off of him and he's going to be colossal for us this year as always. He's lost a yard of pace (allegedly) but he's vital

Yeah, you may be right. With so many young players coming through, BOD has the experience to lead and guide at the moment.

Lets hope they get a good start against France...

petalbabe: Yep, its a bit quick, alright. There's still trouble in the ranks unfortunately..

Cant wait for the 24th tho, always a red hot atmosphere when Ireland play England; whoever wins, its a great spectacle..

Ah I dont think theres any huge problems between the players, I mean this is going back to the world cup now and it's been rubbished every time. My worry is the Leinster lads still having no respect for Declan Kidney after he managed us for all of 7 months, it was a disaster and I was really worried when he was appointed that he'd have a point to prove...

Stick with your original - O'Connell should be the captain. BOD may have experience but not the character of a captain. I can't see how he's going to be colossal - what's his motivation?

51 games as capain in our most succesful period says other wise. Also Declan Kidney has kept him on as captain over POC who he knows inside out. Speaks volumes to me.
Motivation? Playing for his country? He's still to win a 6 nations (wouldn't hold my breath on that 1), that's motivation enough. He's also nowhere near finished in the game as some people would like to have you believe

That he's still captain or he's got a few years left in him yet?
Whatever you meant is an absolute joke & complete disrespect the man is an Irish Rugby legend at the age of 29, if he played for Munster you'd be singing a different tune. Apart from POC & Bod who would you like to see as Captain

Now here is my dilemma do I support the Irish or the French?

Or do I just keep quiet and enjoy those muscular thighs?
