Well, I'm gettin that idea yeah. 
I guess the intial optimism about CS is starting to wear off already. Sure didn't take long. Somethin not right about that I swear.

I have been on cs for a long time now and i have never seen much activity on the texas forums! I wish we could get more people in here and it would even be nice to get a get together in texas planned! I look forward to getting to know some texans!

Well Carla, if you look at all the posts to this Forum for this month so far, you'll notice that you're the only woman to post... there's plenty of guys here, but we're not gay so we get pretty bored posting to each other pretty quickly. 
Kinda need more Texas gals in here, otherwise it's just not gonna be very much fun.

I think its just a timing thing... sometimes its all women and no men in here and sometimes the other way around... we just can't seem to get it together! :doh I would love to see a Texas get together... noone else ever seems interested.
Location, location, location... Texas is a big state, and we all seem to be scattered all over it.
I'd imagine it's much easier to set up a get-together in smaller states where people live closer.

we would need to first see who's interested and then decide where a neutral place to have it would be! i'm about an hour northeast of Dallas myself!

Not a bad idea.
I'm pretty much new here, never have time to go out and search around for anybody.
but I am a crediable record producer with a whole lot of connections. I know people who know people you know? =)
Anyways March 10th we have a concert right next to the Nokia Live center in Dallas (Grand Prairie). It hosts 16,000 attendies. Wouldn't be a bad place to host an event there like one your talking about.
But why not, select attendies from the major websites like this?
