Ups and Downs (10)
My weekly format is this:
Get up and get ready for work, get my daughter ready for school, drop her off at school, go to work, (all by 8:30am), finish at 4:30pm (most days are after 5:30pm though), pick up my daughter from after school care, come home, put my daughter in the shower, cook dinner, wash up, get my daughter ready for bed, relax for about 5 minutes, 'cause that's about the extent I can stay awake for.
Each second Friday is the above, on top of, driving for 1/2 hour to take my daughter to her fathers, and 1/2 hour trip back home, by which point I'm hanging for the alcohol !
I'm certainly not complaining, but just giving you an insight to the fact, you are not the only one, who does the whole long week thing.

I am pretty lucky that most things don't keep me down for long and if I am cranky, it is usually a flash in the pan then I am all good. I feel like i have a fortunate life most days, better than a lot. I don't have a lot of money, all I own is my car (nearly) and household possessions, but that is enough for me. My family and i are happy, healthy, well liked and respected and i am most grateful for that. 
I generally cant stay down for long, but when I am down its normally the lowest of lows.
My daughter and I are a 24/7 deal, there is no second weekend off, but to be honest I dont mind, I really enjoy who she is as a person and just love hanging with her.
I work when Im not at school, that includes weekends and sometimes till late at night. Like others the heat is knocking me sideways, added to that Im not a good sleeper waking 2 or 3 times a night.
So yeah, Lok I really appreciate that running on empty feeling we all get some days. Hope that you will feel regenerated soon
But in the end, I watch the sunset in the evening and Im grateful for the day I've had... Lifes good.

I am lucky that I don't get that pattern either. Never have!!

When you have good days and bad days...
your lucky!
I tend to have good weeks and bad weeks.. ( not talking 1 week either , im talking plurals here )
this is the 2nd week the old energy levels have been low , work hours long , nights hot ( that doesnt bother me , but the mozzies buzzing my ears every 5 minutes do ) and alarm clock buzzing way too early!
does anyone else have a weekly format? or am i the only unlucky sod to do teh week long thing?
But its not all bad , and i know that.. just gotta get energetic again
