Harry Belafonte in Toronto years ago, Mark Hamill in 1981 in L.A., and most recently, Denzel Washington when he was filming John Q in Cambridge (Ontario). Denzel is a warm, wonderful person, easy to engage in conversation. We got to talking about kids and he brought photos out of his wallet like any proud dad. David Thornton (one of the bad guys in Home Alone 3) was in the film with him and he was also very cool. He mentioned in an off-hand way that he was married to Cyndi Lauper and was pleasantly surprised that we Canadians knew her. I'm distantly related on my dad's side to Charlton Heston, never met him.

Let's say alot, some move to the area, some visit. Delta Burke and her husband. John Goodman he also lives in New Orleans. Anne Rice the writer of vampire story. Chuck Norris, he stay at a local hotel, races his race, and goes to the bar with his bodyguards, because it is illegal for him to fight anyone. He is a registered black black. Okay these were just a few. I live in the Greater New Orleans Area. So there are many occassions to meet what you would call famous people and what we down here consider just people. angel peace
