I got to have lunch with Mr Dressup (Canadians will know him) before he passed away.

Mark Chacall, He was a great man and artist we were good friends for a while, the age difference was huge I was 19 he was.... in his seventies I guess! We had great fun in London, he was a bit weird though at the time....

Did not meet him exactly but saw him swimming at dawn in Florida. My mother and I got up early to watch the sun rise over the ocean. We noticed this gentleman swimming. Thought it was odd that he was out there so early. As he walked up the beach to his car, he smiled at us and nodded. My mother said his parents lived in the same town.
I thought it was rather sad that he had to enjoy the ocean in the dark to avoid being mobbed by his fans.
