Every guy I have ever known with this problem was self conscious with it. Usually wear hats, but then I have always heard that hats also add to the problem.
Several years ago I visited a cousin in Ky who lives on the river in a cabin. He was showing me some of his prize posessions and pointed to a picture on the wall of four men and a woman. He asked me if I could name them. To his surprise I named them all. It impressed him big-time. He said I was first person to ever do that. (and he knows lots of people) The picture was all oldies blues performers except for one.
I know where there is a very small historic log church sitting close to a branch/stream. In winter it is warm, summer it is cool. Simple, nothing inside except wood benches (always polished and shining) pulpit and song books. Squeeky wood floor. They have worship there two days a week and doors are always open. Sometimes I go there and sit quietly by myself, its very inspirational.
I was told by psychologist to subtract age you were when you got married from age when you got divorced and that is the age you are beginning new life over as........
Concerning alergies....I have them also, but was worse when I had outdoor/indoor cat. The cats tend to pick up pollen, outdoor dust, mold, etc on their hair and feet. Then you let them in and you are exposed to it. Just keep him brushed and bathed, and keep litter box clean. If litter box/dust bothers you there is a window unit litter box for cats. Filters through to outdoors. Also remember cats can have alergies also. If he sneezes often indoors, the carpet need vacumed and house needs dusted.
My goodness, you are only 18. Sit back, observe, stay cool, calm, collected and it will happen. Also by being a "nice guy" be careful of users. This happens to both guys and gals.
My ex hated cats, so did his mom, dad and siblings. They were all superstitious. If a black cat crossed their path, you can bet they would turn around and go the other way. Could it be a learned thing.
Don't know about a horse, but a mule probably couldn't because they are so stubborn, nor a donkey because they would probably fall on another "aaaaaaass"!! (just joking of course)
I lived in NC for several years and the only thing that really stands out in my memory was the word DRAWS. Which is really to draw a picture....right? NOT!! there it meant your underwear!
Pretty much all my life I have had to stand alone. Even in a long term marriage when I thought I had my back covered ( which is how it should be) found out it wasn't. Someone all those years that told me I was his best friend in actuality betrayed/lied to me. Was actually used. That is why I have trust issues now and find myself standing alone. Probably why I have never started a thread, just posted in them, never really come back with conversation for fear of something going wrong. So I just occasionally post and go on my way. Hope that is ok......... to all
RE: Have you ever tried to save a life?
