I have experienced thinning hair since I was relatively young although in recent months it seems that I'm balding more rapidly. I have now started considering taking either treatment or even going for a hair piece, toplace kind of thing. Maybe it is a bit late to start considering this, cos people have got used to me the way I am. But I'd like your views, be it men or women.

How would u consider a balding man, a man that wears a toupe, or has a hair piece?

So far I haven't had a hair loss problem so it doesn't affect me.

However, I see a LOT of women being attracted to bald men so I'm not even sure if having hair is desirable from that point of view.

I personally would never consider medical treatment for hair loss or replacement. It's just not that important to me.

Would I consider wearing an artificial hair piece? Yes, I would. I don't see that as being an differnt from any other form of make-up. Women die their hair all the time, and have it made up into unnatural "hair-do's". That's not considered to be "artificial" then why should wearing a hair piece be considered to be any more artificial than any other form of make-up or wardrobe?

My head is very sensitive to cold weather. In cold weather I always need to wear a hat or I will catch a death of a cold. When I have a hair-cut I feel like I'm bald in the winter. So I would at least need to wear a hat. Wearing a hat all the time might look silly, so an artificial hairpiece would suffice. It's just a hat made to look like hair.

I really don't give a hoot what other people think or how they judge. I wouldn't want to become involved with a woman who was that supreficial in the first place. If my woman was bald I would appreciated it she wore a wig. It just looks better. So why not wear it?

If I had to pick between a good looking guy with hair and no personality or heart. Or a bald guy, who had those two things. Hair is just hair, it does not matter much.

No hair loss problem here. I know where it's all at.........on my pillow, down the drain and in the garbage rolling on the floor laughing

Seriously, I don't let it bother me. If it's going to happen, it's going to. As for covering it......pffft.

Been bald since th Marines shaved my head at boot camp at 16, nuthin a ball cap wont cure, a sunburnt scalp will tell ya this in a hurry...as for hair transplants an all that jazz, wont change who you are, your still gonna be you, and personally if a woman overlooks me for not having hair, its her loss not mine if they are that superficial...I dont over look women for not having huge breasts, all women are angels decended from heaven, not my fault some of em landed on their faces....
Be yourself an accept it, God only made so many perfect heads, th rest he covered with hair! peace

Wigs for men are a real no no for me. I have never seen one that looks natural or attractive and as for being compared to women colouring their hair, well I can't really agree, dyed hair isn't removed at night!

As for hair transplant treatment, I only know of one person, Elton John, who admitted to having it done. I have read that it is quite painful though, so do you really want to put yourself through that?

Better to accept your hair loss but keep it as short as possible and definitely no comb-overs! Lots of ladies love bald men!

Another famous person who had a hair transplant is Wade Boggs. His looks pretty good. I don't think it is that painful physically. The pain is in the wallet. It costs 15-20k.

There is a vitiam that might help called Biotin. You can get it in the health food store. Might help. But as for the rug don't even go there. It ranks right up there with the comb over. wow uh oh
