I dunno...how is one "supposed" to feel in their 40s?

If we are as old as we feel, then there were times in my 20s and 30s I felt like I was 90. However, I'm in remarkably good health considering all of the smoking and drinking I had done over the years.

I've slimmed down to wearing the same size I did when I was 18 years old, I have a peaches and cream complexion with barely a wrinkle on my face...but my back hurts. But, then again, my back started hurting in my late 20s. People guess me to be ten years younger, so, visually I say I look 10 years younger.

But "feel?" As I said, how is one supposed to feel at a particular age? I guess I'd have to see a poll of women in the same age range and do an average and see where I fit in. I am in pretty darn good shape for not being very physically active.

Mentally, I've got a healthy balance of serious and not-so-serious. But I've never been an "immature-acting" woman, not even in my teens and 20s. Never was the type to giggle shrilly or be loud and boisterous in public or do a lot of the things that girls do at that age.

I didn't consider myself particulary "more" mature for my age; I just think a lot of people are "less" mature than their stated age. I was raised to exhibit proper behavior in public. So I'm not sure if that's particuarly an "age" thing or not. It's a matter of having a bit of dignity, manners, and respect for others.

I'm still 17

When i woke up this morning i was 134, (was out late) now im at about 14, need to get back to being happily 39 again. Should happen around about 4 pm I figure!!

I feel pretty old today, I have my two year old grandson and he has been screaming for an hour and a half. I think he might be coming down with something, as my daughter said he slept only four hours. All I can say is I will be happy when she gets back lol.

I was told by psychologist to subtract age you were when you got married from age when you got divorced and that is the age you are beginning new life over as........

It all depends on the kind of day I'm having.
Usually though, I feel older than I actually am.

I'm 32, but look and feel 23 .. and since my son was born on my birthday, i have decided to fully concentrate on his birthday and completely ignore mine.. so that will make me 23 for ever
