When I turned 30 was the most depressing to me. It was the first time I realized I was getting older and felt I really didn't get to experience and enjoy life before. (the single life) The old saying "Live and Learn" is true, the problem with it is by the time you learn its too late! Can't bring it back.
Of course the main reason cats vomit is hairballs. Hairballs can sometimes cause cats to become very ill. Can obstruct digestive system. This is why cats need grass to help get rid of hairballs. The grass gags them. If your cat is indoors all the time with no grass please buy hairball treatment and follow instructions. you can also grow your own grass indoors. Don't let him/her suffer......
Was at zoo and watched them give the tigers long blades of grass. It wasn't long until they
I believe cats have a reason for everthing they do. Usually when they go nuts there is a weather change coming. Was just reading some info on that very subject.
Cats washing over their ears has long been said to fortell rain; The old rhyme goes: "When kitty washes behind her ears, we'll soon be tasting heavens tears".
When a cat rolls onto its back when it see's you, is the friendliest thing a cat can do. Its his/her way of saying I trust you.
Cats rub against your legs to make you smell like a cat. The more you smell like them the more they like bring around you. Also they are letting other cats know that you are their own special friend.
(most all info I post are from internet sites, books, etc.)
I cook but not really into recipies, just imagination and memory. But the most fun is when you take a weekend float/fishing trip (canoe) and when you set up camp that evening take your fish fillets (catch of the day) with bell pepper rings, roll in beer batter and cook in hot oil along with a side of fresh cooked hush puppies. Nice way to end a day of fishing. Then sleep like a baby.
When a cat sense the bruised leaves or twigs of Catnip they will rub in it, roll over it, lick it, paw at it, chew it and leap about and purr. Some cats will growl and meow. The reaction will only last several minutes before the cat looses interest in it. It takes up to two hours for the cat to "reset" and then it can come back to the catnip and have the same response as before. Kittens and older cats seem to not be affected so much, but tigers are extremely sensitive.

Catnip tea is also good for colds and other ailments.
Created in the Victorian era was the saying..."Has the cat got your tongue"? Although the reference to the cat is thought not be of animal origin. Just what "cat" it does refer to is still a subject of debate. Possible references are the infamous "cat-o-nine-tails" whip, of which the simple sight of could cause a person to become speechless. Another is a medicinal "cat" which could induce the loss of speech.
When I was younger I use to ride brothers yamaha 125 dirt bike. Rideing forest roads and around creek banks. Lots of power in those small dirt bikes.......FUN, FUN
I took my cat in for his yearly shots and stopped to visit my son on way back home. My step granddaughter of 4 wanted to see him before I left. She petted him through the cage in back seat of car and when we went back inside she said to her mom " he had to go to the vegetarian" in a sympathetic voice. it was "TOO" cute
my 6 yr old tom cat has been with me since birth, and he was born 2 days before my BD. he sleeps at my feet facing window each night as though protecting me. LOL
