Anyone here ever married on valentines day ( Archived) (12)

For Almost eight years i was married on this day while it didn`t work out and i wouldn`t go back with her, i am grateful to her for the three healthy, happy kids where blessed with. i got the ideal of being married on valentines day from one of my uncles who was also married on this day.

I've never married on any holiday, but I do know someone else who has his wedding anniversary today.

Seems romantic, but it definitely backfires if it doesn't work out. I married on a Sabbat, a holy day for me, when I married my late husband. For two years now I've failed to celebrate my Sabbat because my focus has been on the fact that it should have been our anniversary. On what should have been our first anniversary, I scattered his ashes. This Feb 2nd should have been our 2nd one, and again, that was a majority of my focus. It was two days before I realized that I had forgotten to celebrate the Festival of Light on Imbolc.

I would not suggest that anyone choose a particularly special day to them for getting married.

Never been Married before

after the divorce this day sucked but after a couple of years i`m over it and i don`t have any ill feeling about this day i just wouldn`t ever marry again on the day

just rub it in happy valentines day to you and yours

but today is not special as to us its
just another day..

i quess we make everyday joyus..Well mostly everyday

so everyday is just that

I was married on this day 12 years ago...but we also split up several years later...then have gotten remarried

thats great to hear your right we don`t need a hoilday to remind us how much we care for out loved one
