Hey Pete!!!...yes I know, you guys are going to have your classic Gozo festival, the one that everybody wants to go to...I will make it if I can, but I think I will probably be attending the Valletta one...I'll let you know mate..

Sounds good since I will be at the Restaurant attending to my friends and the the new customers who come in on reservations for our Daily Special.Hopefully see you there.Wouldn't mind a beer or two.
I got meanwhile a few responses from CS members.Wouldn't it be fun to have an unofficial CS Members Get Together.Come for a meal,beer,glas of wine or just to say Hi.I would like it meeting you guys in person.I hope the weather will hold up and we are going to have fun.

I remember last year or the year before several CS members coming over for a meal... it was pissing down with rain but we had a great time - sat down for lunch at a fairly normal time and staggered out when it was almost dark!
My then girlfriend, in Malta, was working ........ I called her on my mobile phone thingy and everybody had a word saying 'shame you couldn't come blah blah!'
This week is carnival and our nice Maltese neighbours help the Gozo tourism trade - last weekend (Valentines) and this weekend many hotels are fully booked - some people refuse to accept there is a world recession!

We also have another CS member in Gozo who has excellent villa accommodation with not one but THREE swimming pools (one will soon be a heated indoor pool - wowza!) and can cater for up to about 20 people.............. he's never had to advertise as word of mouth ensures a steady stream of weekend visitors!
Remember that CS is NOT for advertising your own business........ CS will bounce anybody off for doing that (their revenue is from advertising so no free adverts allowed), BUT if we can indirectly help friends by organising CS get-togethers - why not?
