I am a diabetic (24)
rock525 Threads 236 PostsI have been a diabetic for about six months, use insulin, but finding diet and excercise work. My sugar levels are down to about 130 to 150. My girlfriend is also diabetic. How do you feel being a dibetic? I find that being on an ADA diet works. Any thoughts here?

My mom was obese and I a diabetic and she had a stroke from it. So diet works.

Um HELL NO!!...lots here are hooked up...but their profiles reflect that...
as for the thread...many in my family are diabetic and control it with diet instead of the drugs...

my mom was diabetes and she past away 7 month's ago november 3 2005
on november the 2 she call me and ask me to call the ambulance when over mom place as fast as i could ambulance was there i had to wash all the -------- she had on her prepared her clean and give all bottle and insuline to the EMG... anyway's whent to the hospital with my sis at 6h00 pm she had a heart attack the orth was ripping off her blood presure was high and at 5h00 pm november 3 she had to go to the surgery to remove her intestine to have a bag her intestine was black dead. her liver was going to shut down her heart was ripping more well all her organ's was shutting down. on the operation table she died at 7h40pm the surgery was about to finish at 11h00 pm but she didn't make it!!! and if she was to make it she was going for a second surgery for her heart i hate diabetes if you want to give donnation please do so at i wah my mom the last thing i've done to her and at the hospital she said to me i love you 3 times i will never never never forget her i love you!!!

Marie, I can understand what you are going through and I lost my mom to diabetes and cancer and my father had prostate cancer and that is why I am staying on my ada diet and blood tests came back normal, so I have a chance to change my fate. Hang in there.

My father is diabetic. so far it has taken both his legs. it doesn't seem to stop spreading . he has to keep going back to have more removed and it sucks.
