Well the US has severe racial problems both historically and even to this day. I never implied that we don’t. It is improving however but it’s a difficult process because it has to be brought out into the open and a lot of people are uncomfortable about that. Obama is in office and that is a major accomplishment for this nation.

However, always remember... Einstein was just human, like all the rest of us! Highly intelligent... but only...human.

RillyNiceGuy: I think he was a fizzasist!

Yep, with lots of fizz

Here are some of his more memorable quotes.

"If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?"

"The must incomprehensible thing about the universe is that it is comprehensible."

"Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new."

"Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value."

"Gravitation can not be held responsible for people falling in love."

"You do not really understand something unless you can explain it to your grandmother."

"The ordinary telegraph is like a very long cat. You pull the tail in New York, and it meows in Los Angeles. The wireless is the same, only without the cat."

"Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S RELATIVITY."

"Sometimes one pays most for the things one gets for nothing."

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe."

Einstein's specialty was short (easily memorized) quips that sounded profound but said nothing. The sort of things one might keep handy to gracefully sidestep discussion of more complicated issues.

Taken from Luke 10 (NT)

"Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes."

Jesus thanks God that only the ignorant and foolish will listen to him. rolling on the floor laughing laugh

Yep, that's true.
The "wise and prudent" don't listen.

Here's more on the subject.

1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1Co 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Ro 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools...

Eph 4:18 Having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

26 ... not many wise men after the flesh,
not many mighty,
not many noble, are called:

27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise;
and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

1Co 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

As was the IQ of Albert Einstein who was obviously not a Christian. In fact, in that letter of his that I posted the article about, he referred to religion as the domain of "childish superstitions."
