As we begin the celebrations of this blessed season...we should reflect upon our blessings and truly look around us and acknowledge all that we have in our lives. Wow, think of all the changes that many of us have had since Christmas last year...the trial and tribulations, the joys and sadness, the love and the loss. But, we made it through! I find myself so very time challenged, trying to do it all and realized today that I am not going to be able to bake those few more batches of cookies, nor am I going to have time to put up more decorations. And you know what? It's okay...because sharing the joy and love of the season with people who matter...that is what it is all about! (it is not the hokey pokey!) So...to each and every one of you...Merry Merry Merry Christmas!!! May your days be full of wonder, love and joy! All the very best that life has to offer to all in the coming year! Stay safe, stay happy, blessed and warm. as we celebrate the birthday of Christ!

I've spent more time bantering back and forth with people then I've had time to finish my baking too! You know what though, I wouldn't trade it as I've enjoyed every moment. Some things are measured by cookies or decorations - time spent with others is priceless.

Learned about what I could get done last year, and even though so many things did not get put up, etc, spending that time helping my parents was the best thing.
This year, it was a client who took a liking to a very silly springing Christmas hat from the Dollar store, laughing and was so happy when he got to take the hat home. Watching him walk down the ramp shaking his head to make the ball on the end of the hat wiggle, and him smiling the whole time. That was a Christmas present to me ... that young man's laughter, and the look on his face when he put on the hat.

Happy Yuletide, Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to you all.
Enjoy the season and stay safe...and if you can't stay safe, well drink lots, eat lots and get fat. Then you have a new hobby for the New Year...losing weight.
