What is stopping you? (5)

I posted my profile, because I want to meet a Canadian woman (that's the obvious part). I come from Scotland, but visit family in Ontario often, and thought I would like to meet someone from the area. But, still no replies. I am not looking for someone to give me residency, I want to meet someone to fall in love with. Does it really matter where they come from? So, I shall ask again, "What is stopping you?"

Really and truly unless someone reads your profile, the first thing they see is "Scotland, UK"...lol...

So I guess that would be a deterrent if one lives in Ontario...however...by posting your intentions here on the forums...that's always a good start...

Just curious though...why are you looking for someone in Canada??

I was actualy just having that conversation this morning in yahoo messenger with a friend of mine who lives overseas. He is hoping to find someone from canada himself.

I will tell you what I told him...Do not limit your expectations to one area and one specific thing. I find that if we set our expectations too high and look too hard for one certain preference then we tend to get frustrated, impatient and disappointed.

Love has no limits nor no boundaries. I am a believer in faith. When faith decides to strike, you will know then who you will belong with and who will belong with you. Until then take the time to get to know people no matter where their place of residency, culture etc...is..You would be surprised at how many opportunities you may have left gone by, by being choosy.

What you say is true. The only reason I am limiting myself is that I spend quite a bit of time in Ontario. If I have to be honest, I would say that it doesn't really matter where the person lives. As You said, by limiting your search you limit your opportunities.
