Motorcycle ride events (13)
Brizguy_2008: Well guys, our group went on another ride again this weekend and it was awesome !!!....
This weekend we went to Kingaroy from Brisbane via Samford, Maleny, Kenilworth and Gympie.
We spent the night at a hotel in Gympie where we were looked after and had a great time. We even had kareoke...lol....We did wake with sore heads from partying till about 2AM and then a number of us waking at 6AM....
We rode home today(Monday) and all had a ball !!
There was about 25 bikes and about 40 people turned up including pillions.
I realise this site doesn't have as many people, but the bike rides are great fun and a good way to get out and socialise without the hassle of actually dating. Totally stress free.
If anyone would like to come on a ride, either as a rider or if some of the women would like to be pillions, just post and I'll direct you to the next one.
Our next ride is in 2 weeks. We start and end in Beaudesert with meet points at the Gold Coast and Brissy, then everyone meeting at Beaudesert.
It will be a mystery ride and should be fun.
Then about a week later we have a night ride through Brissy.....
As I said, these are a great way to socialise either as a rider or as a pillion, and we've had enough of these now to sort most of the bugs out. Pillions are always welcome and you normally have a bit of a choice of cruiser or sports bike.
Any takers?

should organise an adelaide to melbourne run, it's only an 8 hour trip. you could fly here on a tiger airlines one way cheapie and pillion back to melb on the run blonde

Even on the other site it looks like Brisbane people are the only ones doing anything.

On the 7th Feb there is a Fancy dress party, then the 8th there is a bike ride. I think the fancy dress has about 65 people signed up !!
Then Valentines day this site has a Strathpine dinner, yet it looks like only 3 people are going so far. What's going on people?

been to one in brissy.. that's it for me
if I go to anymore it will be because they are somewhere different

I like snow.. played in it when I lived in england for a couple of years back in 86 cos I had not seen it here in Oz... must admit tho.. the novelty wore off after awhile
lol o beleave me i kno about novilty whering off i remember when i was 10 yers old having 13 feet of snow on the grownd hear over 4 days strate snowing day and nite groshry stors depleated in 2 weeks no millk for 2 weeks do to rode closhers my brothers ho wher 14 and 15 at the time both over 6 feet tall thay wold jump off the roof and disapear compleatly in the snow that was 1971 now if we see 4 feet of snow thats alott lol and runing a mexican dragline (shuvel) is no fun for 4 months of the year
