In the window of the room there are flowerpot, there I see birds landing and singing happily, seeking dry leaves to do their nests. They jump from flower on flower as a fun dance.
They fly as smoothly as if it was the own wind. No fear, nothing they impede to fly!!!
They are the own lesson of the freedom!
I look at me and I see that I feel like in a cage flying, but the memories, the fears, the past that it doesn't return more and insists to appear in my mind and heart, without asking license, cloistering my heart and arresting my soul, closing the door of my freedom.
I know that my soul is sister of those birds and she also want to fly, but she lives in the prison of myself.

We are often our own worst captors kidnapping a positive spirit and burrying it in the deepest recesses of our mind instead of setting it free to soar to the highest apex.
I like this and can only hope that lesson is learned and the cage door is opened never to be trapped again by self doubt. thank you for sharing this the chains of our past troubles should never be used as anchors weighing us down into darkness keeping us from soaring into the light of our future but instead be threads sewn into the quilt of life that we can cover ourselves with to feel the warmth of learning from past mistakes.
