Trail of Tears

Come travel with me and journey into the past
As I walk in the moccasin of my ancestors
Hear the echo’s of the voices that cry out in the night
As an awaking spreads across the land
Hear the sound of there anguish pain
There chanting as they walked the trail of tears
Feel the sharp rocks rip at the soles of there feet
Feel the hunger the sorrow the pain
On the horizon of many moons
For this path of death will never be forgotten
The cries of my ancestors shall live on
As the moon reflects its self on the flowing water
And the mountains forever hold there secrets
In the darkness of the night
A lone wolf answers the call of the wild
Forever reminding us of the trail of tears
