THE SHORE LINE

THE SHORE LINE

As I walk along the shore line
My bare feet in the sand
I long to see my sister
And take her by her hand
We may walk along in silence
For no words we’d have to say
And cherish every moment
As we walked along our way

We may talk about our childhood
The laughter and the fun
The joys that we both shared
When we where very young
We’d pause in breathless wonder
Of the beauty all around

And listen to that music
And the sounds from far beyond
So when I’m felling lonely
I’ll know just what I’ll do
I’ll take a walk along that shore
That takes me back to you
